يلي بتأثر على السوريين في لحظات مهمة خلال حياتهم: الولادة، التعليم ، الزواج ، و الوفاة
بدون وثيقة رسمية مش ممكن يعيشو حياة كاملة يلي نحن بناخد منها خصائص الشخصية
هيفا ام حاملة من لبنان، علي معلم من سوريا، صالح و مروى زوجين من سوريا
كونا امراة كبيرة بالسن من الاردن، و المزور يلي يشتغل بالتزوير يلي ما بيعطي - هوية
مرّة تانية الحدود اللبنانية و السورية فتحت
الناس فيهُون يتنقلوا بين البلدين بِحرية
زوج هيفا كان بيشتغل في لبنان وهي زارته مع اولادها الخمسة لما الحدود كانت مسكرة
هن تهجروا وسكنوا قسرياً في لبنان
هن صرفو امو الهون ليحصلوا على المستندات للأطفال ليروحوا على المدرسة
هيفا عرفت إنها حامِل بولد تاني ورح يحتاج المُستندات كمان
بلا مُستندات الولادة, ما بيروحوا على المدرسة
علي معلم في مدرسة في سوريا
هو بيحب التعليم وهادا شغلو الوحيد
ما عنده مُستندات لأنه هو خايف من السلطة تلاقيه وتلاحق عايلته
منشان هيك بناته بلا المُستندات
و هن ما يرحو على المدرسة وين علي بيعلّم
في يوم من الأيام مدرسته طلبت نسخة من شهادته
مشان هيك هو لازم يلاقي طريقة تانية يثبت شهادته بلا ما يستخدم السلطة و بلش يدور على مزور
شغل المزور بيتضمن مُستندات مثل شهادة الوِلادة و شهادة الزواج و مستندات السَفر
قال المزور أنه هو بيعمل أي شي إنه ما بيضرّ بالناس و دائماً بيستعمل معلوماتهم الصح
هو بيعمل هاي الشي لأنه هو بيعتقد أنه الناس من حقهم يعيشوا والنظام ما بيعطي الناس المستندات للناس ليعيشوا
صالح و مروى ما بيصدقوا إنّه السلطة مابتوقف حياتهم
هن متزوجين خلال الحصار بسوريا
بس هن ما عندهن شهادة الزواج ولا شهادة الوِلادة لولدهن الصغير
هن عندهن المستندات بس ما بيثقوا إنه المستندات رح تعمل برّا سوريا
بس بيرفضوا يقدّموا على وثيقة من النظام السوري
هن ما يعتقدوا إنه النظام مش/ما معترف
فهم بيستنوا صاحبهم ليساعدهم مع المستندات و بيصلّوا بيستلموا المستندات وتشتغل برا سوريا

Which affects Syrians at important moments in their lives: birth, education, marriage, and death.
Without documentation, it is impossible to live full lives which we learn from the main characters -
Haifa a pregnant mother in Lebanon, Ali a teacher in Syria, Saleh and Marwa a married couple in Syria,
Qona an older woman in Jordan, and a forger working who works to provide what the System does not - identity.
The border of Syria and Lebanon was once open.
People moved freely between the two countries.
Haifas husband was working in Lebanon and she visited him with her five children when the border closed.
They were stranded and forced to live in Lebanon.
They spent all their money to get documents for the children to go to school.
Haifa learns she is pregnant with another baby who will need documentation as well.
Without documentation at birth children cannot go to school.
Ali is a teacher at a school in Syria.
He loves teaching it is his only work.
He does not have documentation because he is afraid of the system finding him and hurting him and his family.
Therefore his daughters are without documentation.
And cannot go to the school he teaches.
One day his school demands the documentation for his degree.
Therefore he must find another way to prove his degree without using the system and begins to search for a forger.
The work of a forger includes birth certificates marriage certificates travel documents.
A forger says he makes anything that does not hurt people and uses their correct information.
He does this because he believes people need to live and the system stops people living by not giving them documentation.
Saleh and Marwah do not believe the system should stop their lives.
They married during the siege in Syria.
But they have no marriage certificate or birth certificate for their baby.
They have some documents but do not trust the documents will work outside of Syria.
But refuse to apply for documentation from the Syrian Regime.
They do not believe the Regime is a recognised government.
So they wait for a friend to help them and pray the documents they receive work outside of Syria.
